Medela's Breastshells are a great alternative to absorbent pads, and are particularly useful for protecting sore, cracked nipples or for providing gentle relief from breast engorgement. They collect leaking milk and provide a protective 'shell' around cracked nipples.

They are also useful for wear during and after pregnancy to help draw out flat or inverted nipples and are particularly effective when used in conjunction with a manual breast pump.

Medela Breastshells are made with a soft silicone back for a comfortable fit, vented fronts to allow air circulation for better breast health and their contoured shape means less visibility through clothing.
